Finally.

A different genre than techno or dance, and a pretty happy-happy song.

Could be played less sloppier, but it adds to the charm that it's sounds so one-time-recorded. I love it (:

At first when I read this, I got slightly angry, but I think mostly at myself, because what you wrote is so true. I know exactly what you mean, but as you said, I was new to this back then. I think that in the future I'm going to try and mend my ways, and produce something original, although I don't have access to live recording tools like you. You've got a good thing going, I listened to some of your songs, they're very good, you need more views. Keep an eye on me in the future, I think I can get you to give me at least an 8 later on x)

The sidechaining on the voie was really sloppy at times with high volume peaks and waiting for the melody / kicks to enter seemed to take forever...

The quality is tight, but the lack of dynamics make it really, really boring..

You want harder and softer bits, and especially bits where the drums change / fall away a bit, so you have breakdowns and drops. A reese bass would make it really kick-ass, but an ambient-ish DnB track would work too.

This just gets really boring after 20 seconds ;o

You know, dissonance is only dissonant when it solves to a tonal progression which actually 'solves' the false notes and modulates it to a different tonal scale...

This was just a bit false, im sorry to say man, i love your musical style and you still are one of my favourite artists, the breaking glass and stuff was brilliant, athmosphere was just lovely, the tonal progressions were just...

If you continued the part at 2:26 a bit with a cleaner sound, some reverb beeps or something, man... That part only made me really happy all of the sudden ; )

I suppose you are right about the first bit, though its got a fair chunk of music concrete, atonal rhytmhns, experimental sampling and dissonance.

I guess I should probably fill out the author comments a little more. :P

I was hoping for a freaaaking phat breakbeat dropping in at around 0:50, unfortunately that did not happen.

Fortunately the bass was phat. Now i want a phat bassline with a phat beat.

I dont understand your transitions, i would recommend making a more bassier drumline, one that really pounds, and a bassline that plays a groove instead of a single note in a different rhythm with a glide at the end, would make it a lot more interesting to my idea.

Nice song though. really got me going at the start, was just hoping for more. (:

i have somewhat of an off beat, but i pride myself for having originality in at least one of my tracks. i intentionally made it so when the drop comes, it starts with a simple beat that transitions directly into the fast hat section.

i understand where you come from, but it's just the style i chose for this track, and i added some of my own flavor to it. if you listen gloom, it has a very similar build-up. thanks for the lengthy review and an 8!

The delay effects kinda made a lot of your notes false, since you are modulating, which is truly a shame =/ I've heard better of ya, still, a nice change from the normal 'music' here on NG ; )

I just got really turned off by some false notes, sorry!
