The same problem as most of the techno / house / dance artists on NG, it's too full, and being so, the mastering quality ( sound quality ) is just not so good.

I suggest equalizing some of your instruments, or putting in different frequencies than you did : )

Giving you a lower score will get my review deleted anyways, so let's keep it neutral. Guess there's no room for commentary on NG.

Okay listen up man...

Hints:

Dynamics:

A breakdown maybe? something to keep it interesting? It's like boom boom in your face all the time and that doesn't work.

Samples:

The kick drowns in the mix, which makes the song itself less powerful.

The clap is a little too robotic for this genre / my style.

The originality:

Oh yay, yet another tetris remix. Said enough.

The instrumentation:

This is actually pretty good. I could be a bitch and whine about how this is not my genre, but it's okay.

The lead although might be a little too bit WHAAARGH POWAH!
Saying this while i think this saps away a lot of the kick-power.

VEC standard loops / fills.

I heard a few standard VEC fills, which is okay but ehm...

Just to give you a hint, you might want to change these into samples you made yourself or correct them to your liking, because they don't really stand out and make the whole song sound a little cheap, unfortunately!

I sure had to save it as well.

My only com;plaint is the inconsistency in the percussion, which is a shame!

I would really love some steady beat and some longer climaxes because the melody can pull it off just right. It doesn't get boring.

I was pleased I got into the top 5, I put a lot of work into this (30ish hours), nearly every cut has been hand done, and everything you hear is 100% intentional.

However, making top 5 with something like this on NG is a death sentence to its score.

I've projected by the end of the week it will be hovering around 3.5ish in score.

Glad you enjoyed, I'll likely be posting more sample based music in the future.

Ehm...

The scales don't really match, it's rap, but he does actually works tonally, especially in the repeating verse.

The beat was pretty original though, too bad for the scale disfunctioning.

Yeah i know, it was a little more difficult then i thought to do... but it is the beat that you should grade, cause the vocals is just so you dont get bored listening to 3min and 40sec of beat, but thanx for the score !
