Maaaan

This sounds like some sweet ass IDM untill you used that in your face instrument @ 0:23 - Might i ask what VSTi you are using? Please, PM me about it.

I love all the soft sounds and the glidy sweetness

T-Free responds:

Thank you, tijinn.^^
In this song I used the VSTi "Gladiator" by Tone2 the first time, a very powerful one.

Hmmm

Really. Badly mastered techno songs get loved, and some experimental weird ass dubstep gets destroyed in reviews.

Whatup?

I thought it was pretty interesting.

bryce responds:

i hope you are not calling this techno and badly mastered you pRick,, else Thank U bby

Yap.

A remix should show the song from a different approach, with new interesting sounds and possible changes in structure / melody / sound.

All you did, was copy a generic song, added some unmastered VST's that play the midi pattern. Then, you added a crowd that, which actually made the mix even worse, and then proceeded to mind*beep* the ever growing ignorant newgrounds audio portal voters.

Yes, im talking to the Audio Portal community, not to you.

I'dd try to think about sounds a little more, instead of picking a VST preset that sounds okay.

kirja100 responds:

Hahaha

Oooookay.

Newgrounds has gone crazy.

Im sorry to say, but the mastering was horrible, it sounded like cheap rip off 1970's happy-hardcore techno and it made me barf that you actually ask people to buy this.

Sorry for being so mean to you, but this is my way of saying, newgrounds audio portal, you have to grow up.

As for you, i'dd spend some more time in the mastering, the bassdrum and bass really clip when they play together, and the sound is rough on the edges...

Now i've had mastering problems too when i started making music, so that's not strange. In fact, it's natural. Just read some tut's / ask someone for help, and along the way, you'll learn how it's done.

As for the drum samples, buy a deadmau5 sample pack, or tweak the VEC 1/2/3 packs to get a drumpack / loop that fits the sounds a bit more, this sounds like a random pack thrown over random untweaked VST presets pretty much.

rwert responds:

Well first of all I appreciate the criticism and the help, but I'm not asking anyone to buy anything. They can download it for free at sharecash.

I agree that I'm new and I need more experience mastering, tweaking, etc. but at the same time, you can't tell me it doesn't sound good. If it doesn't it's just because of your opinion. A ton of people love this song as it is right now, and even though I'm just starting out, you have to admit that this is pretty groovy. I personally think it's worth 99 cents, and most definitely worth downloading it for free at sharecash.

Beatsource, ima review kk?

I really loved the track!

Very detailed as always and at 1:07 i felt some awesomeness coming...

1:24 and on, a buildup? What's that coming?
Yap, an awesome sexy lead that makes every head in the area bop.

I love it! ;D

My only 'complaint' in the mix is that the vox might be a little hard compared to the drums / lead, but as far as i know it might be your intention ;)

Nice song dude! Ima love it!

Ethalyn responds:

Thanks for the review m8!

Ok, firstly, im happy you enjoyed it, as for the vocal might be a little hard, i really think these vocals are of a 'chanting' style, and for that reason i chose to really put them in front and mix them into the song in a way that would make the listener listen closely the vocals! :)

Oookay

Why such a low score?

This is really creative. (:

Ookay :P

Tune the guitar!

HOOOOLY F

Gooood day king IDM.

I love it. That's all i can say. Amazing glitch.

Quarl responds:

thanks :)

Hehe

Sounds more like IDM / Acid to me man, especially with the amen break.

If you want to make pure DNB you need heavy standard DnB drumpack, and not the amen break i guess... If you listen close to the pure DnB artists, a track basic is already a very thumping beat, a very heavy bassline and maybe a high distorted saw lead, or stuff like that (:

Other than that, as genreless this song is, it's nice. (:

ragnarok017 responds:

i realized after submitting and listening to this over and over that maybe i mis-labeled it. i appreciate that you can see past that and still rate it based on the quality of the song and not the genre it 'belongs' in. thanks for the tips and the nice review :)

Hooooly f.

Normally i don't like music like this, but woah.

The glider-tune is so amazingly sexy, i would seriously dance my brains out if this was played in a club or festival or something ;3

Thanks to you, i can't sleep for another 3 hours, haha ; )
